Let’s get you started. It’s really easy – and really popular - to take classes here as a “Guest Student” when you’re already enrolled at a 4-year university. There’s no requirement to enroll in a degree program…you can just take the classes you want, when you want them, and the transfer them back.
It's the same class for less money: In your first few years of college, you have to take a lot of “general education” classes. These are classes you must take to get started in just about every program. They are also THE SAME CLASSES NO MATTER WHERE YOU TAKE THEM!
If you’re enrolled at a 4-year university and you’re taking a GenEd class, you’re paying too much. Take the same class here at a fraction of the cost then transfer it back.
Flexible formats: Nobody has more flexible options than 4Cs. We have 14 week semesters that start every September and January, 7-week semesters that start every September, October, January and March, and Summer sessions too. You can take advantage of our many online classes and our one-of-a-kind HyFlex model that allows you to live-stream into face-to-face classes wherever you are.
Credits that transfer: Once you’re done taking you classes here, transfer them back! If it’s within the Massachusetts State College/University system (including UMass), the transfer is guaranteed. Our counselors will help make sure you’re taking classes that match up with your home university.
